Well for now our main office is in South Florida so after a few days of rain and handing out rain coats to the local Homeless. We decided to spend the weekend driving up the Coast of our home base stop in a few towns and feed whoever we see . And that’s the problem we see too many that need food and clothes or in need of mental help..
This guy above we see time to time we give him clothes every so often, this day a fresh blanket for him to lay on. He never really speaks and always keeps his distance. We suspect he has other issues going on but there is really no way to get close to him in order to help. We know there are shelters but many are not that safe for some..
I know what you are thinking.. Why is there a walker on the side of the road ? Where is the person ? I’ve seen this lady on an off for a year now. She is quiet never asks for anything unless we give it to her. She just sits. I asked her why she sits behind a tree. She says that she is embarrassed that she is in this situation and she does not know how to get out of it..
She is afraid to go to the local shelters because they do not care what happens to them. And that it can be dangerous for a woman like her outnumbered by men in closed conditions. Then she has to worry about her things getting stolen.
Many of these people had lives.. Good Jobs .. Loving Family’s .. But then things happen. You never know in life and I know this because at one time.. It happened to me. But I was lucky Very Very Lucky, many of these people are not and need out help.
And are that Help !
Well we have a job to do today till Sunday and we love it. Now of course we do not like the circumstances. But we love making a difference in people’s lives and we hope we are making a positive Impact so they can change for the better..
But we can’t do it alone we need the Support of others, because only together we can fix this..
