The First Annual Thanksgiving Run is a Success
1st run to Marianna to see the Rev Jim Swafford was a huge success, however this time we decided to surprise him with the goodies so this way when he pulled up to the door on Monday morning he would get an amazing surprise and our mission would be accomplished.
Now on to Sophia’s Haven of Hope in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We decided to take the back roads of Georgia and South Carolina in the dead of night and we do mean dead of night! We left the panhandle at about 1am so we did a bit of late-night sightseeing and it was fantastic we stopped for gas and took a look at the stars and it was truly amazing you could almost reach out and touch them I just could not believe how beautiful it was.
We slept for a few hours at the North Carolina rest area we just needed some sleep and it showed so we got more than two hours which was good enough for us. When we finally arrived they were in a meeting or something so we sorta kinda snuck in and well left them some goodies as well.
The last Stop City of Newark.
Well, it’s no secret that I am a Jersey Guy, born and raised in Maplewood-Newark and Kearny. I had one hell of a childhood so when I started The JRX Foundation I really wanted to do a lot for my home state as well so when I am in Jersey I try my best to do what I can for the residents of New Jersey.
And there you have it another successful run and a very successful 1st annual Thanksgiving Run…
I hope you all have a very healthy and happy thanksgiving!
