Christmas Day Run 2022
This year I did my Christmas day run on the west coast of Florida from Naples to Clearwater then over to Orlando then back to base. I tried to hit the places that are still recovering from Hurricane Ian and Nicole now at this time Florida was experiencing a cold snap and it was rainy in many parts so less people than usual were out.
But I still sadly had a productive day handed out a few blankets and pillows as well, I started at 7 am till around 5 pm. Many areas are still recovering now when I mean by sadly is that there were more people out on the street this year than last year. Many shelters are over capacity many food banks are busier than ever…
Weeks after a major Hurricane it is to be expected, but still hard to see but I am still here trying to do my best with what I got and thankfully I have many of you behind me.
