Clearwater Fl and Whoever We Saw
We got a few E-mails and comments asking us to stop by Clearwater Florida when we got the chance. So we loaded up with our famous hygiene packs and other supplies. Now, this was also one of the coldest weekends in the state of Florida so we got some blankets and some hoodies and set out on I-95 starting at 2am.
It was a chilly 34 degrees when I left but I am a Jersey guy sooo this was nothing for me. But sadly for those on the street, it was very bad. I really wish we were big enough to have a place to bring people but we don’t. So driving by and doing the best we can has to suffice for now.
We covered a good 650 miles about helped about 15 people in Clearwater and another 25 people we came across in other cities and towns. Hell, there was three people right off the bat when we stopped to get gas before getting on the road.
Sadly I and other volunteers can’t be everywhere but we do try, and there is no end in sight really homelessness has been around since the dawn of time.
But it does not mean we can’t try to help those who need it, you never know what happened in someone’s life. It can happen to anyone at any time, it happened to me and I got lucky I got the helping hand I needed. Now I can help others
