Nashville We Are Coming!

Yes, you read correctly we are leaving after Dark in order to be there in the late morning to mid-afternoon. It is going to take us at least 10 to 12 hours to get there depending on the weather we encounter.

As you all know  A string of deadly tornadoes swept through Nashville  The storm, which filled the dark skies early Tuesday, produced two tornadoes that left a path of destruction across four counties, including hardest-hit Putnam County. 

Leaving 24 dead Eighteen people in Putnam County. including five children, were confirmed dead as of late Wednesday. Among the injured, 88 people were taken to Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Utility crews worked to repair more than 600 downed poles and restore power to almost 20,000 Nashville residents.  Many survivors were left wondering how to rebuild after homes, businesses, and schools that were damaged or destroyed. Communities turned out to help those left injured or homeless or simply to share their grief. Rescue and relief efforts were expected to continue through Thursday.

So we are on the way there is supposed to be some bad weather in Georgia and hopefully, it will not be as bad by the time I get up that way.
