Newark Water Crisis We are Here !!

We came We Saw We Gave Out !!

The Newark Water Crisis..

Newark has been my family’s home since the turn of the Century when my grandparents came over from Sicily and Ireland. It was at one time a very beautiful and flourishing city..

Enter the late 60s the rise in crime then Drugs like many areas had was just the beginning. We moved out in 1970 to Maplewood NJ but I still had uncles and cousins that lived there. So we were back and forth for many years

One of my uncles owned an Exxon Station on Park Ave while another uncle worked at the Hess station across the street. My Dad worked on 5th street for Morbach Kaslander Lumber Company. My other uncle had a used car lot on Clay st and Broadway.. So I have a history there..

Then when I catch wind of contaminated water and people might get sick then well I just got to make a stop and make sure things go well.

And that is exactly what we did. We obtained many cases of water from restaurant depot and hit the streets..
