I often get asked why did I Start The JRX Foundation ?
Because I was there ! I was flat broke after spending years of living the American Dream.. You get a good job, you bust your ass and work and save your money. Get a House-Car buy things you like.
Then have it all crash down after a few turn of events of your life that are not your fault.
I have seen family members die of Cancer and other sicknesses, I have been in a long dark deep period of despair where I just did not think I would ever get out of it. I have contemplated suicide and thought of ending it all, many nights staring at the ceiling just praying that my life would end.
I pawned everything gold that was ever given to me, my rings everything in my foreclosed house I could ever find. I even searched through anyplace I could find for loose change.
But I hung in there and kept submitting my resumes to Monster.com and other places. And took any temp job I could to make any kind of money.
I continued on with trying to live my life not knowing what I was doing and where was I going to end up.
Then all my Hard Work and Dedication Payed Off, I finally got a call from Lauderdale BMW in Ft Lauderdale Florida for a Job Interview and then the rest was history. I ended up getting the job in the parts department and having an amazing 3 years there..
But I made myself a promise..
When I got back on my feet again that I would help people that were in the same position as I was.. I saved a little money and started feeding the Homeless and our veterans..
Then as the word got out and I was getting more and more clothes donations then food even a little money. Then I started branching out to more states.
Then I made the decision to start The JRX Foundation and never looked back.
Then I had to make the Heartbreaking decision to leave Lauderdale BMW, I knew I had a bigger purpose and well here I am hoping to grow more and more.
And I can’t do it without any of you, the backbone of The JRX Foundation
